Photo 1: Cap should be held in hand not sitting on the counter. If you place it on the counter be sure the bottom of the cap is facing up.
Photo 2: Cap should be removed so it doesn't touch the pipette tip.
Photo 3: Plate should be held away from the face. Person is breathing on the plate and contaminating the plate.
Photo 4: Gouging the agar surface.
Photo 5: Streaking the lid.
Photo 6: Do not touch the pipette down by the mouth of the pipette. If you need to steady your hand, steady it at the top and not at the bottom.
