This is a course that is offered at Rockhurst University. Every spring semester. In the class discussions are based around women who have made an impact or had influential standings in science. This class entailed reading many texts about women, reading several books that dealt with women's issues, and giving presentations. We read books about Rosalind Franklin, we discussed the discovery of DNA, researched how many women are in the sciences in Missouri (our findings were very interesting), and talked about women's health issues, etc. Come in and see some of the things that we have done in this class. Click on the icons above to see some information about women and their impact on science.
