Scholarship Application System

Welcome to the Scholarship Application website for the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Central Missouri.

GOOD NEWS! The department was recently awarded a $499,520 grant from the National Science Foudation(NSF) through an extensive nationwide competition. Funding of this highly competitive grant demonstrates UCM's quality programs in computer science, actuarial science and mathematics. With this grant, the department will be able to award 28 NSF S-STEM Scholarship annually for the next four years ($4,000 per scholarship) to incoming, transfer, and current enrolled students majoring in Computer Science, Actuarial Science or Mathematics in the department. The scholarship is renewable each year for up to four years pending the recipient's program performance, continued eligibility and funding.

Many generous donors made it possible for the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science to award twenty four departmental scholarships to students pursuing a degree in the Department. The scholarship recipients are recognized at the mathematics awareness banquet each year.
